Xinyan Wu, Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor of Pharmacology in the College of Pharmacy. Prior to joining Mayo Clinic, he was an Instructor in the Department of Biological Chemistry at the Johns Hopkins. He obtained his Ph.D. in biochemistry from Shanghai Institute of Hematology Shanghai Second Medical University. Subsequently he joined Dr. Sara Sukumar’s lab to study breast cancer biology as a postdoctoral fellow at the Cancer Center of Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. His research interest is using mass spectrometry based proteomics, molecular and cellular biology approaches to study cancer signaling and identify novel therapeutic targets with a particular focus on breast cancer.
