Anusha Uttarilli, Ph.D. completed her Ph.D. studies in human/medical genetics at the Centre for DNA Fingerprinting and Diagnostics in Hyderabad and obtained her Ph.D. from Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Manipal. Her thesis was focused on the molecular genetic analysis of inherited genetic disorders of inborn errors of metabolism. She is experienced in handling clinical samples, molecular genetics, basic cell and molecular biology techniques, immunological methods and mammalian tissue culture. Subsequently, she worked as a National Postdoctoral Fellow at Kasturba Medical College in Manipal on molecular characterization of lysosomal storage disorders. At IOB, she is integrating genomics, proteomics and cell-based studies to study various genetic disorders.
