Anu Jain, Ph.D. obtained her Ph.D. degree from Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh, India. Her research work was focused on identifying potential salivary biomarkers for oral cancer, where she used mass spectrometer-based proteomics methods to analyze the salivary proteome. She joined Dr. Pandey’s lab as a postdoctoral fellow. Her research interest is to use proteomics methods to understand biology of diseases, like cancer, and to use these methods to improve diagnostic and therapeutic options for these diseases. She is currently using proteomics and glycoproteomics methods to study congenital disorder of glycosylation.
