Jun Zhong, Ph.D. is an Associate Consultant in Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology at Mayo Clinic. He obtained his Ph.D. in biological chemistry with Dr. Pandey as his advisor at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He continued his post-doctoral training with Dr. Pandey after the graduation. Later he worked as a Senior Scientist in Omic Biosystems, Chief Scientist at Delta Omics and Principal Scientist in AlgaBT to oversee the deployment of the proteomics technology in various biological fields. After he rejoined the Pandey group at Mayo Clinic, his research interest is developing novel proteomics techniques and applying these techniques in the field of basic biomedical research and clinical research.
