Olajide Olaleye, Ph.D. obtained his Ph.D. in Pharmacology from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing, China. He was a postdoctoral fellow in the laboratory for DMPK Research of Herbal Medicines, Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica where he was involved in clinical and non-clinical ADME/Pharmacokinetic and drug interaction studies of multiple compounds present in multiherb cardiovascular medicines. He has a vast experience in isolation and mass spectrometry-based pharmacokinetic studies on small-molecule natural products from various biological samples. Currently, he is engaged in development of targeted assays for small molecules that are potential novel biomarkers in various diseases.
