Rohit Budhraja, Ph.D. obtained his Ph.D. degree in biochemistry from Technical University of Berlin, Germany for the work that he carried out at Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research, Leipzig, Germany. His research was focused on using inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS) and LC-MS for characterization of membrane-associated metalloproteins in different anaerobically respiring microorganisms. Prior to starting his Ph.D., he worked at Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology (CCMB), Hyderabad, India as a Junior Research Fellow and at Lambda Therapeutic Research Ltd., Ahmedabad, India as a Research Associate. He is currently exploring mass spectrometry-based glycomics, glycoproteomics and proteomics methods to study cancer and various other diseases
